Take Huron Street, North of Devonshire toward Pittock Lake where you arrive at the entrance of Roth Park. Here you may enjoy a picnic, fish, hike, bike or take your K9 companion to the controlled dog off leash area. The trail can also be accessed at this point with a parking area provided. From here travelling east, the main trail is paved path with secondary trails comprised of hard packed dirt. Near the entrance to the Park is a trail of screen gravel that takes you west to the CPR rail bridge, Ontario Hwy 59 and Tecumseh Street. Both can provide a view over the lake as well as the river below the dam. Tecumseh Street also provides access to the Burgess Trail. The Burgess Trail has upper and lower trail sections, with the lower following the Thames River.
